When God does a Thing. 11/27/2024

When God does "a thing" to get the attention of someone, it should be considered, at least in my opinion, that He is trying to communicate something to that person. Some will say that is hogwash and God does speak like that or God does speak outside the Bible or a number of other things that some will say is even from the demonic. Keep in mind that Jesus was even accused of being demon possessed in Matthew 12, Mark 3, Luke 11, and John 10, so to have anyone say that about me or this missionary journey that God has my wife and I on would be no different that something that happened to Jesus himself.

For just over three years God has had us going from place to place when He wanted us to share about what He was going to build for hurting children, an home in the east part of Tennessee. Then the first part of July, God added much much more to this already huge project that He had given me some details about starting back in June of 2021. God added a very specific type child to this and that is ones that have been sex trafficked. I was shocked for Him to add this because I nor my wife have been around this very specific type abuse before.

I knew during the time of October/November of 2023 God was leading us to be mobile to spread the Word and to raise money for the east Tennessee property that we have never come close to having enough money to buy. We have been in total wait mode for God to move in some way for us to be able to buy such a large piece of land for the sole purpose of protecting hurting children. We were able to buy a 2001 rv on August 2nd 2024 that most would not have been excited about becoming owners of such an old rv, but it met most of the needs we had and been looking for to work for God as missionaries. That purchase led us from east Tennessee literally all the way out west to Arizona then back home then back to Texas today as I write this blog post to show how amazing God is when He wants something known and shows the very specific details of waht He wants known.

On this second trip into Texas that started on November 8th 2024 in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, God led us to each place in and around that area sometimes just to speak to one person then move on to the next place, see Acts 8 where the disciples were finished in Samaira preaching the Good News. God had Philip go down a desert road that starts in verse 26 to the end of the chapter. While around Grand Praire Texas on November 15th, I looked up a date range for two dates and the total days came out to be 167 days apart. Then after God moving us to Marble Falls Texas a week later, I am looked at another range of dates on November 26th 2024 that also came out to be 167 days apart. These two totally different date ranges for different things happened 12 days apart also.

The next day on November 27th 2024 I go into Marble Falls to do our laundry and while sitting in the car waiting on the wash to finish God does "the thing!" I had my Bibles (9) with me like I do most of the time because I never know when God will want me to speak to someone that is in the Bible or WHEN GOD WANTS TO SPEAK TO ME PERSONALLY THAT IS WRITTEN LONG AGO IN THE PAGES OF MY BIBLES. So I got the Bible I usually start with, which is one of 6 that I have had for close to 6 years now. The last three I acquired while at a church event and were given to me while there in early June of 2024. After looking in a couple of the original 6, I knew the answer I was looking for on page 167 would not be in them. So I set them aside and started looking in the three that I had only had for about 5 months or so. When I looked at the first page 167 it was about the land given to some of the tribes of Israel. The whole page was mostly about boundaries of each tribe's allotment. Until I read the last two verses on page 167 that had Joshua 19:49-50 on it that reads and i underlined, "...the nation of Israel gave a special piece of land to Joshua, for the Lord had said he could have any city he wanted. He chose Timnath-serah in the hill country of Ephraim..." When I read that as I was sitting in Marble Falls Texas almost at the center in the Texas Hill Cou try that had never been to before in my life, I knew and heard the Words of God speak to my heart and say HILL COUNTRY! I wrote a note on that page asking God what does this meaning to me because I never want any move i make as God leads to be about me and what I want and when I want something. It becomes about me and what I want and God may be left out and I miss the direction He wants and I go my own way. So I normally ask God a question in the name of Jesus, Joel 2:32, to get God will or a confirmation for what has come to mind or place on my heart. I do not act off of impulse when I read something like this. Because we have been going from. Place to place since the middle of August full time and for the last three plus years and it has always been about doing an orphanage in East Tennessee. So to be certain that this is not a fluke or something that I just "think up" on my own, I wait and I wait until I know God is all over that very thought/prayer had.

Eight minutes after that page 167, I looked at the second Bible that God was saying to look at. This was the confirmation I asked God to give me that came from Deuteronomy 19. I underlined a few verses on this page 167. Deuteronomy 19:1-3, When the LORD thy God hath cut off the nations, whose land the LORD thy God giveth thee, and thou succeedest them, and dwellest in their cities, and in their houses; thou shalt separate three cities for thee in the midst of thy land, which the LORD thy God giveth thee to possess it. Thou shalt prepare thee a way, and divide the coasts of thy land, which the LORD thy God giveth thee to inherit, into three parts,..." But the part that stood out to me was what I'll add here. The separation of three cities (or lands) within the land (USA). When I read this I knew God was answering my question about the Hill Country of Texas. So there will be THREE not one orphanage for sex trafficked children in the US. One in the eastern part (Tennessee) , one in the central part (Texas) and also in the western part to be named and found when God is ready.

I so happened to be sitting in my car reading this message from God on why He had us come to the Hill Country of Texas and I look to my left and the side of the next building just had the words REAL ESTATE on it! So this journey of this missionary and his wife that are sold out to follow and obey God's perfectly timed leads, are now in the Hill Country of Texas waiting on God.

I ask this of you as a reader, is this demon possession OR DIVINELY TIMED ACTS OF GOD to lead us to the Hill Country of Texas to do His Will?
